CNY Day 2!!!

Gosh we gotta wake up early for today!!
We are so lucky that my Cousin Lyn came to fetch us to pray...
I was so emotional today... My Granny 'introduced' Roy to my Grand-dad.. Dun know why when I think how my Grand-dad will be so happy for me, tears started dripping... So *dui-lian* in front of so many people some more..

We had a yummy dim-sum session at Habourfront!!!! 3 tables all in all!! Catch us *lao yu-sheng* whaow... so messy but we had so much fun!!!

Sarah's stomach bloated like 3months pregnancy! Tsk tsk tsk....

As scheduled, we went to my Grand-auntie's 3 storey bungalow house at Bukit Timah!!! So grand.. But too large for me.. I still prefer flats... This place has always been a photo-taking place since young.. Now we are adults, it is time we take for the younger generation..

First, we went to my Grandfather's place at CCK to *bai nian* Met up with my aunties! Long time since i saw them... Every year, we just stayed there for a while.. Had our lunch, talked to my grandparents and I apparently slept on the sofa... CONCUSSED SARAH! Was sssooo tired! Nope, I didn't *sou-ye* I am just too tired working on New year's eve...

Next is my Granny's place at Bukit Merah! It is as usual, rowdy, lots of laughter and everyone is simply in da New Year mood!!! Love to see the massive slippers along the corridor!!!

Love this kind of feeling! Everyone so happy, even adults playing together. Like, when my Granny giving out *ang-pow*, my uncles all started joining the queue!!! Pretending to be Granny's grandchildren or some even shamelessly self-acclaimed to be single!!! Then some would pretend to jump queue or the ~naughty ones~ would re-queue again to confuse the distributor!! It is so fun! You know, when we *bai-nian* we gotta queue.... From the youngest or starting from ladies.. Depending on the *ang-pow* distributor.. HAHhhahhAHHA

Can imagine, my Granny's place is already so small. The house is so packed with people! One group playing Mahjong, another group (my mum in it) preparing food and there is simply LOTS OF FOOD!!! One group, my cousins, watching tv, singing, chatting and playing *dai-di* Another, watching TV in the living room, and lingering around.. Me, like PR like that, walking around, talking, getting updates from everyone! It is so fun especially teasing my 5566-craze cousin!!! My dearest Spoonky starting to get *cosy* with most of my relatives... It is so heart-warming to see him talking to them and being like a part of the BIG famliy... And also, my youngest cousin, Crystal, who pester Spoonky to play with her! Didn't realise my Spoonky can draw so well too!!! Seems like they have a fun time! One drawing, the other.. quietly, enjoying Spoonky's drawing and helping to beautify it..

Ok, gotta sleep.. Tomorrow will be a busy dae too... Waking up early to pray, in remembrance to my Beloved Grand-daddy.. Missing him so much.. Still remember when I was young, he would cycle me to school.. Now he is no longer around...

Then we will have a *DIM-SUM* session! Wooooooo... So nice!

We will also make a trip to *gou-po* house... She lives in a BIG BIG bungalow!!!

After that back to Granny's place to eat *fa-cai* fish!!!

I think I'm just plain stupid.. Pple don't even appreciate what I had done for them and even ask me to forget it.. They will just bear with it!!!!!!

Was so so shagged out these few days.. Lazy to blog too.. Time is for SLEEP!!!

Immediately after my night duty, Spoonky and me went to HDB hub to look around for flats!! Following that, I sing!!!!! Sang till 2pm! The funny part is, when I held the mic, all the tiredness just had their disappearing act! ... Then they came back immediately I left K-box!!

Slept till 7pm to have my dinner and went Northpoint wif Jos!

Sarah the hardworking gal packed her stuff at Spoonky's place! All the lost clothes found! Hiding in his cupboard!

The next day, waked up early to enjoy a good swim wif Jos again! Then went for my facial appt! Now Sarah face is so so RADIANT!!! I simply love these pampering!!

And Sarah spent nearly $300 on Dermalogical products!! It is very very good! Effect is fast too!

Then had a nice dinner at Riverwalk Tandoo.. Indian fine cuisine ok??? A buffeut spread which cost only $16!!!! Yummy Naans again!!!

Was sponging up Uncle and what was hanging around his thumb caught my eyes..

"Uncle, why is that pager hanging there? Not painful meh? Why no battery still keep it?" Curious Sarah in action..

"This pager had great significance and I can't lose it.. It is all I have now...

If I have the money, this pager still can use, you know?" Uncle patiently explained..

It really Trigger my thoughts..

Where is my pager now??? I could still remember the once popular-blue pager of mine. Now? What has it been recycled to?

Singaporean kids (yet again) is so fortunate.. Do they still know what is pager? If I ask my little cousin to use it, would she want?

And how many things would you hang on dearly with all your life?? Can you? Or would you?

So that makes me treasure the things that I have now.

Mommy loves you so much so she makes sure these are always within your reach. But, if WE have our new house, the fridge is stocked up by you, me, you, or me.. So that is money again! We cannot take things for granted anymore!" Furthermore, staying in our new house, enjoying few months of comfort, bills will start stacking up like a memo pad!! Housing insurance, radio and TV tax??? (Is there one?), our income tax, electrical bills, etc... GOSH!!!!! These are hidden cost! There goes my GUCCI bag!! Sarah *pouts*

Irregardless, we are mature enough and that's why we are entering into our next phase of life.. Being responsible to ourselves. Thinking hard and re-think lots lots! Well, this year, I am going to S-A-V-E $$$$$!

We went to DXO for drinks!!! Wow man!! I nearly collapse at MOS toilet after that~
The drinking session is damn good!!! Really enjoyed myself..
Quoting what Spoonky:" DXO provide drinks, you all then *Piaa Mia* is it?"
Hahaah we really drink like nobody's biz.. DXO is kinda empty.. We are the only group that make hell lotsa noise!

3. Brandy Dry!!!!! (Highly recommended by Jasmine and I love it!!! That explains our No: 1 Wrong order.. Sarah a bit deaf!)

DXO drinks are not bad!!! Heard that it is well mixed! The place is cool but only a handful of pple... Good if gals just wanna sit and chill..

We went off to MOS! Didn't really enjoyed myself! Was super high and the urge to dance is high too!!! However, we keep on touring arond MOS! Read: we Practically went round and round.. Looking for friends... And more friends gathered and then wait for more friends.. Hai.....Spin until I puked man!

Co-ordinating, planning, sourcing... Blah blah blah... Headache! Why can't it be simpler?

More or less, I've decided... Shall get a wedding planner instead! Most people have the mis-conception that hiring one is expensive.. But after some opnions by my brother and his great deal of contacts, getting one might be a better option..

A wedding planner knows the cheapest yet good restaurant, has a great timing skills, knows how to co-ordinate and most importantly, won't flare up like Sarah! You know, Sarah has a ROARING temper!!!

All I have to do is make myself pretty on that day! Seems like a great deal hah?

Yah, better ask my bro's friend to be my wedding planner! Reducing stress, conflict between Roy n Ros!!!

Then on that day, you'll get to see a radiant and glowing couple!! Keke.

My dearest Roy did his most charming and romantic way of proposing to me!!!
Yah, it is really a nice way he put across!
Did I mention this is the 3rd time proposing to me?

But that is so memorable right?

Why this stubborn Rosaline so "jue-qing" and said no earlier?

First it was on Christmas day, while we are making our way to Zouk and in the midst of the journey, we got to pick Jos up.. While using that minimal time of 10 mins, he hug me and showed me the ring. I said NNNNOOOO!! Hmmmpppff, how come no flowers, no kneeling down and what's more so rush? Me so sad.. But later, I found out that he was too anxious to ask for my hand lah. Hahahha.

The next day, while still semi-conscious, he knelt down, held my hands and asked me if I will marry him.. So sweet right?? I am so touched at that time... I said Yes!! But when I said:"You want to put the ring in my finger?" Guess what? He forgot the most important thing!!! THE RING!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGHH!!! So there goes his 2nd chance!!

Following that, my Spoonky decides to lie low.. Real low... No matter how I pester him, he refuses to show me the ring!! And he promises me to prepare something special and unforgettable..
Ok! That keeps Rosaline happy for some time!!

He brought me to Fort Canning.. The place we got together and we had our first kiss!! Asked me to close my eyes and brought me all the way up to the exact spot that we kissed!!
While walking up, something just doesn't feel right.. Fort Canning is usually quiet.. Roy told me that he checked and there isn't any events on..
You know what? I heard there are a lot of Hindi music playing and seems everyone is Indian there! It seems like there is a wedding or some special festive celebration going on!!
I am so scared!! So many pple so pai seh...And furthermore, I'm worried I might trip!
Never mind, we manage to be at the place which was quieter..
Facing the view, he ask me to turn around..
Then I saw him kneeling down, with a Precious Thots musical jewellery box, inside there, lies the Ring!! He asked me if I will marry him.. Of course!!! This impatient Rosaline waited for so long!!!!

Why musical box? That means that our LOVE will be locked in the box, being nutured.. And when open up, our LOVE will also spread to our loved ones: parents, family and future kids.. Smartie Spoonky..

Inside the box, he pasted our pic which both of us are the nicest and there printed,

So sweet!!!!

Yes! We finally meet up! All thanks to Wini... She came back from Oz! Taking her leave to visit her dear friends here!! Our Poly mates.. Sad to say, some of them are no longer in nursing.Nonetheless, we had lotsa fun!! She is still as funny as usual.. And she is so pretty!! I love her so much... Missing her badly when she is not around!
Must "make use" of her while she is still in Sing.. Hahahaah nah~ just make her to spend time with me!!

Don't know why after the clubbing session that day, I'm still in the mood of going out, having fun!!!

Since secondary school, I think I'm deprieved of all these fun!

My mum don't really like me hanging out with all those people who goes clubbing. She thinks that all these clubbers are 'naughty gals'...

My primary school friends at that time already started going tea-dancing..

After that, they progress to clubbing at hot spots! Me? I'm still lingering around the library I think.. Geeky Ros!

Thinking of how my mum stripped me and started canning me when I lied to her while hanging out wif my friends..

I was SSSOOO tempted to hang out wif them! These gals always go Mac, chit-chating! After my Primary 5 class, I lied to her that I need to stay back for tutorials..

I called her at the Redhill MacDonald. (Using coin phone!!!) There is this guy queuing behind me and he was in a shock when I started lying... I claimed that I was still in school... Of course my mum didn't believe me and threatened to go school and look for me!

I was so scared that I ran back to school! Last time, Membina primary school is quite near to Redhill central! It took me 15 mins to run back school and sobbing me already saw my mummy's back, walking home... I am a sweaty goner when I reach home! Sure die!

Of course she started stripping me and caning like nobody's buisness... Taught me a great lesson not to lie to her....

I'm so greatful that she did that to me... Else I'll end up like my other friends now, school drop-outs and so-lian....

Nowadays, kids cannot be canned. They need to be 'counselled'.. Guess they are too pampered. Next time, my kids will have the equal share of carrots and canes for their deeds they done! Maybe I will pamper them too, maybe not! Definitely, their daddy will be the stern one... HAHAhHA, will update few years later!

Anyway, I still misses the fun!!!

Going to look for more "khakis" to go club in future!!
